Hoping A Strong UK Labour Government, Can Turn The Tide On Global Issues?
Dear Brave New UK, let’s raise a glass to ‘Hoping A Strong UK Labour Government, Can Turn The Tide On Global Issues’. But, will that change our countries performance? Most of the issues, which are challenging the UK, have been and still are global issues. That is to say that they are not unique to the UK, they are seen across the world.

So to say that a party has failed the UK, due to these reasons, is nonsense. All a party in government can do is make policies to limit damage and ride it out. A new government, turning the tide where others didn’t, is possible, but it will take many many years. In fact it won’t actually be government that enacts this change. It will be the people of the world.
Global Issues Beyond The Reach Of Government Policy?
– mass migration, destabilising economies and sovereignty, and the thought that Russia is stirring this
– cost of living, and wealth disparity
– global warming crisis, of fires, flood and famine
– the ongoing financial crisis of the Covid period
– the increasing divide between NATO countries and Russia, China, Iran and parts of Africa, a World security crisis
– the war in Ukraine, affecting fuel and food supply
– the brewing wars in Lebanon versus Israel, and the Hamas war already alive
– the war on the Houthis, as a proxy with of Iran versus NATO
– preventing re-annexation of Taiwan into China
How Can People Stop Global Issues?
I believe that these are beyond the reach of government intervention. No matter who has been in power recently, I’m not sure that the outcome would have been much different. No Single government or group of governments, can stop this, with policies. After all, policies are written words, but people, can stand up and say no.
Mass Migration Crisis
Mass migration can be stopped by first world private business, helping people other countries breathe new life into their industries.
Cost Of Living Crisis
Cost of living, and wealth disparity, can be resolved by private businesses, paying fair wages. There is no need for a law to do this.
Global Warming Crisis
The global warming crisis, of fires, flood and famine. We all have a party to play here, and we can do it. It needs action by every human being.
Ongoing Financial Crisis Of The Covid Period
The ongoing financial crisis of the Covid period. There is enough wealth in the world to pay this off within weeks. n matter who holds the debts, the large mega businesses can pay this off as duty to the people of the world. % of the world’s population hold over 99% of the money.
The increasing divide between NATO countries and Russia, China, Iran and parts of Africa, a World security crisis
No matter what side you are on, if we all walk away from conflict, by refusing to fight, what can anyone in power actually do? In World War 1, the Allies and the Germans, left the trenches, and played football on Christmas Day, as a celebration of humanity. This kind of solidarity takes trust that spreads like a virus, but absolutely can and must be done.

BREXIT – Where Conservative Government Did Hurt The United Kingdom
The single biggest area, where the Tories have hurt the UK, in the last 14 years, is in opening the door to leave Europe. It was done, of all things, in order to appease, a minority of MPs. Then a gathering momentum, of disillusioned supporters were whitewashed with faked benefits, as the referendum was offered.
Trickle Grows To Tsunami
Eventually, the general public had had enough, and wanted it over and done with. Even if that mean going through with exiting. Thus the General election of Boris Johnson’s making, gave him the power to push us out, with little resistance from Europe. In fact, as soon as European leaders and negotiators, saw that almost the entire UK had voted for the conservative party, the realised that there was no stopping the train of public opinion. Gutted with bitter disappointment, they halted their plan to slow or even stop it, and worked on damage limitation.
So We Voted For Change
Let’s see if some budget reshuffling and priority changing, from Labour, will result in change. Let’s see if Sir Kier’s cabinet, can now turn the tide of world events and their effects on this country. Good luck Sir Kier, I hope you can do it, but really it’ll be the hard work of the UK people, that bring us out of this wealth disparity. True we will need some unlocking of barriers by your party. To be fair, what I have seen so far is kindness, decency and tolerance, the 3 UK principal values, so maybe we are in with a chance, compared to another round with the Tories.
